Removing the Intrusive YouTube Search Box

YouTube have added a new search box to the YouTube embedded player. It drops down from the top of the player when the video finishes.

This is an irritating addition which encourages your visitors to do a search that will take them away from your site. You don't want this to happen so I recommend that you remove this feature. Here's how you do it:

1. In the YouTube embed code, there are two URLs which call up the flash player 


2. Add the code showsearch=0 by adding "&showsearch=0" to the url
   
   

That's it!
