Brock N. Meeks is an award-winning investigative journalist with more than twenty years of experience.

His articles have moved Congress to call hearings, and have changed the course of public policy. He pioneered the field of online journalism and founded one of the preeminent online publications, CyberWire Dispatch.

Brock's articles focusing on the intersection of government and technology made him one of the leading journalistic voices regarding issues such as free speech, privacy, encryption, content regulation, and cyber-rights.

For the last ten years Brock has served as chief Washington correspondent for MSNBC.com covering beats ranging from technology to civil liberties to legislative attempts aimed at taming the Internet.  He is now the Director of Communications at the Center for Democracy & Technology in Washington.
